New Altinn: Changes for certain roles from the Register of Legal Entities
In the new Altinn, individuals who hold some roles in the Register of Legal Entities will not automatically receive the same Access Packages they previously had in the old Altinn.
Check if you need to take action before we shut down the old Altinn
If you have started filling out forms in your inbox in the old Altinn but have not submitted them yet, you must complete them by 31 May 2026 to avoid losing any information.
Easier access management in new Altinn
Starting in early March 2026, we're launching the first improvements to make it easier for individuals and organizations to manage powers of attorney in Altinn. More updates will follow throughout March and April, making access management even more secure and user-friendly.
Log in to Altinn with email
From 13 February, you can log in to Altinn using your email address. "Email login" is an important step in making login more flexible, accessible, and secure for all users, especially those without a Norwegian identification number.
The new Altinn – simpler, safer and more modern
Starting December 1 2025, you will see more parts of Altinn’s new solution. After logging in, you will now encounter the new inbox and new access management pages for organizations as the default option.
